Synopsis
Deusimar is the owner of Inferninho, a dark and run-down bar that is refuge of dreams and fantasies . Her dream is to leave everything behind and go away to any distant land, as far as possible from that place. Falling in love with Jarbas, the handsome sailor that arrives at the bar, dreaming of finding home, will completely change her life and the lifes of the bar employees: Luizianne, the singer; Rabbit, the waiter; and Caixa-Preta, the cleaning lady.
Director
Guto Parente and Pedro Diógenes work together since the very beginning of their careers. Inferninho is the forth feature film they direct together, but the first as a duo, since the other three were directed also by Luiz and Ricardo Pretti, in a quartet formation - Road to Ythaca (2010), The Monsters (2011) and At the Wrong Place (2011). Their films had been exhibited at important film festivais such as Locamo, Rotterdam, AFI , FidMarseille, Viennale, BAFICI, among others.
